Who we are

HouseHow operates househow.co.uk. For privacy questions or requests, use the contact form.

Information we collect

If you contact us, we collect the name, email address and message you provide. The contact form also records your IP address and browser user agent. Our hosting and security services may process technical information such as IP address, browser type and access times to deliver and protect the site.

How we use it

We use contact information to respond to enquiries, correct content and protect the site from misuse. Our basis for handling enquiries and site security is our legitimate interest in operating HouseHow. We do not use contact enquiries to add you to a marketing list.

Contact form and service providers

The contact form is provided by Elementor. Submissions are stored in the WordPress administration area and an email notification is sent to the site administrator. The website is hosted and maintained using WordPress, Elementor and our hosting provider. These services process information needed to run the site.

Cookies and advertising

WordPress may use essential cookies for administrator login and site operation. We are preparing the site for advertising, but this policy does not mean that Google AdSense ads are currently active. Before advertising cookies or similar non-essential technologies are enabled, we will update this notice and provide the appropriate choice mechanism. If Google ads are added, Google and other advertising partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads; visitors can manage Google ad personalisation at Google Ad Settings.

Retention and security

We keep enquiries for as long as reasonably needed to handle them and maintain relevant records, and review stored submissions periodically. Access is limited to site administrators and service providers who need it to operate the website. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us for access to, correction of or deletion of personal information we hold about you, or object to our use of it, by using the contact form. Some requests may be subject to legal exceptions. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page if our services, advertising or data practices change. Last updated: 25 September 2026.
